 1 to provide a practical and theoretical knowledge of horticulture.

Learning Outcomes 
| On completion of this course, the student will be able to: 
        be able to demonstrate an understanding of the value of trees and shrubs in the designed landscape and how they are produced, cultivated and managemented.be able to demonstrate an understanding of the design, construction, management and maintenance of types of planting for amenity areas including traditional lawns, wildflower meadows and prairie planting.be able to recognise 50 plant species and explore their qualities and characteristics for use as design material. |
