SummaryIndicative course content
Students will submit a proposal for c 90 hours of negotiated activity to be undertaken in an appropriate discipline and working environment. The agreed programme, supervised by an approved tutor, will consist of a project workbook and a body of practice-based work.

Aims of course
1 To further develop an understanding of the finished work as the outcome of the related critical thinking, planning and research undertaken.
2 To undertake an increasingly independent approach to the learning resources available, fostering the development of a range of skills in a professional context in an appropriate discipline.
3 To further develop skills in presentation and editing in the display of work made in this module.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Display increasing confidence in the development of an original and personal vision in finished work and the research which supports it.
  2. Demonstrate confidence and competence in the ability to plan, develop and document a project from proposal to resolution.
  3. Show competence and a considered approach to the selection and presentation of work for assessment at this level.
