SummaryThe primary aim of the Placement is to introduce students to a professional working environment related to the study of theatre and performance. In this context students can explore a possible future career, while developing skills and experience and meeting professional practitioners. These Placements are competitive and are arranged in appropriate host institutions in and near Edinburgh and Glasgow. Before enrolment on this course is confirmed an individual interview with the placement coordinator will take place in October.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course students will have had experience of working within a professional environment. This will allow them to explore and apply theatre skills developed on the course. It will help them to find their own professional and creative identity within the theatre arts. It will also expose them to valuable contacts in the theatre world of Scotland.
