In this module you will focus on an individual topic within the broad field of visual culture. It may relate directly to your studio work or extend beyond the normal parameters of your practice. You will identify a research question relating to your topic and utilise appropriate methods to enable you to produce an in-depth reflection, supporting argument and contextualisation in your response.
Aims of course
1 Develop the skills necessary to identify a suitable research project and appropriate methods for your research.
2 Extend your research and analytical skills to enable the successful completion of your research project.
3 Nurture visual and written communication skills that enable you to critically articulate your analytical and creative processes in the form of a research project.
