| Summary | This post-introductory course is intended for students who have successfully completed Foundation Spanish Language 1 or Introductory Spanish or have reached an equivalent standard (Standard Grade/GCSE). It is not suitable for absolute beginners or students with knowledge of Spanish at Highers/A-level or above.
There is an identical course (Foundation Spanish Language 2 - ELCH07010), which runs in the first semester.
All students take all elements of assessment, including the examination. |

Learning Outcomes
| Following Foundation Spanish Language 1(ELCH07011 or ELCH07015) or Introductory Spanish (ELCH07001 or ELCH07002), this course will further develop your knowledge of the language in a wide variety of situations using more complex vocabulary and grammar.

Students joining the course after the first class meeting with timetable restrictions on which group they can join must contact the course secretary before enrolling to confirm availability in the required group.
