SummaryThis post-beginners course is intended for students who have successfully completed Foundation Spanish Language 2 (ELCH07010) or have reached an equivalent standard at CEFR level A2/B1. It is not suitable for absolute beginners or students with knowledge of Spanish at A-level or Advanced Highers. It is recommended that Students with Highers or AS-level or any other qualifications should contact the course organiser to have their language level established.
Course description Foundation Spanish 3 is the follow-up to the 40 hour Foundation Spanish 2 course. Students who have successfully completed Foundation Spanish 2 course or have an equivalent knowledge in the language will be ideally suited for this course. This course is not suitable for students who have Advanced Highers, A-Level, or knowledge above CEFR level A2. At the end of the course students should have reached approximately CEFR level A2+. Students wishing to continue learning Spanish will be eligible to join Spanish 1B (ELCH08002), provided that they have a pass rate of minimum 50% in the next academic year.

Following Foundation Spanish language 2, this course will further develop your knowledge of the language in a wide variety of situations using more complex vocabulary and grammar.
