Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Describe different enzyme reaction mechanisms
  2. Explain and determine enzyme kinetics and explore enzyme binding sites in 3D structures of proteins using Pymol
  3. Understand the importance of structural biology in enzyme function
  4. Examine the interrelationships between all metabolic pathways
  5. Search and extract data from bioinformatic databases on the internet and critically evaluate and manipulate primary published kinetic and structural data
