Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Students will be able to critically review existing literature and relate this to a proposed research project
  2. Students will be able to make informed decisions about the appropriate methodology to investigate a particular phenomenon and defend these decisions, as well as assessing their ethical consequences
  3. Students will be able to analyse empirical data/theory in order to give an insightful account of this material
  4. Students will be able to reflect on the strengths and limitations of the research design and execution of the research
  5. Students will be able to manage the development of a project from initial ideas to final project report
