Notes: Students wishing to progress towards legal practice should note that passes in the following courses are required to qualify as a solicitor in Scotland: Delict, Public Law and Individual Rights, Business Entities, Evidence and Criminal, Property, Commercial, Succession and Trust Law. All 80 credits of optional courses can therefore be drawn from Law Level 08 courses.

Notes: (i) Students should normally have passed all courses (240 credits) in the first two years before the second year resit diet, and have achieved a mark of 50% or above in French 2 at the first attempt.
The 3rd year comprises at least 30 weeks spent in the relevant country and prescribed work in Law and the relevant language in an approved establishment. From 14/15 students will take the distance learning version of Advanced Legal Methods.
