Greek World and Roman World Courses

Select exactly 40 credits of the following courses
Notes:

1. 20 credits should be taken in Semester 1 and 20 credits in Semester 2.
2. It is recommended students take the two 'Greek World' courses.

Greek 1A and Greek 1B

Level 7 and 8 courses in Schedules A to Q, T and W

Year 3 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: August

Notes:
Entry into the third year normally requires:
(i) passes in 240 credits of courses taken in the first two years
(ii) a mark of 50% or above, at first attempt, in Roman Art and Archaeology and Greek Art and Archaeology, and
(iii) passes at 50% or above, at first attempt, in Greek 2A and Greek 2B or Greek 2a Ex-Beginners and Greek 2B.

Entry to honours in Classics remains at the discretion of the Head of Classics in the light of performance across all courses.

1. Greek Language (B) MUST be taken if Greek Language (A) was not completed in Year 3, unless exemption has been given by the Head of Classics.
