Course description |
You will be encouraged to use appropriate strategies and methods of contextualisation to reveal connections between art works and their conditions of production and presentation.
Aims
1.To define the understanding of effective methods of contextual and visual presentation within a social situation.
2.To enable you to determine a personal approach to recording, disseminating and documenting art work in a variety of contexts.
3.To enable a critical reflection of the interaction between art works and social situations through appropriate professional practice strategies.

Assessment is formative at end of Semester 1 and summative at end of Semester 2.
1. Documentation of a live presentation to peers and staff of Presentation: Methods and Context 4 coursework. You will have 2 opportunities to present to and discuss your presentation with peers and staff and will receive formative feedback on both occasions. Your subsequent documentation of your presentation will be summatively assessed
2. A web presence that shows your work externally. Your web presence will be summatively assessed |

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify: Identify and present evidence of a self-directed autonomous practice.
