Course description |
Through self-initiation and a motivated approach to your work supported by range of critiques and tutorials you will generate a critically informed and cohesive body of work. You will establish proficient approach to the production and context of your work in in relation to current practice.
Aims:
1.To propose and produce a personal direction for your work that determines a high level of ambition and understanding.
2.To present a selected body of work that communicates critical analysis, personal vision and awareness within the context of current practice.

Additional Information (Assessment) |
Assessment is formative at end of Semester 1 and summative at end of Semester 2.
The assessment will focus on a professionally presented body of your work. This should be supported by documentation of work made since the last summative assessment.
This should include no more than 20 images of your work. Those working with video and sound files should provide working links to appropriate platforms. You should also include one statement of up to 300 words that outlines your approach to your practice
Both submissions are compulsory and failure to submit one or both will result in a fail.
Summative Assessment counts towards your final grade/mark. It evaluates your learning (against intended learning outcomes for the course).
Relationship between Assessment and Learning Outcomes:
All Learning Outcomes are equally weighted in assessment. |
