Year 2 Academic year: 2021/22, Starting in: August

Notes:
Students who have passed courses to the required value of 240 credits, and achieved marks of 50% or more at the first attempt in all required second-year courses for their registered degree, are automatically entitled to progress to honours. Students who are planning on spending their Junior Year Abroad must successfully progress to honours before they can proceed on their exchange.

Students intending to transfer to single honours Politics must take Introduction to Political Data Analysis.

Year 3 Academic year: 2021/22, Starting in: August

Notes:

Students considering the Social Anthropology Dissertation must take Imagining Anthropological Research (SCAN10037).

Students considering the Politics Dissertation are strongly recommended to take Research Design in Politics and International Relations (PLIT10106).

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.

Social Anthropology Honours Electives - Level 10

Notes:
Students wishing to take Culture and Power (SCAN10030) are encouraged to do so in Year 4.

Students intending to take the Politics Dissertation in Year 4 are strongly encouraged to take Research Design in Politics and International Relations (PLIT10106)

Notes:
Students taking the Social Anthropology Dissertation must have taken Imagining Anthropological Research (SCAN10037) in Year 3.

Students who were on JYA in Year 3, may take this course in Year 4.
