Entry into Honours normally requires
(i) passes in 240 credits of courses taken in the first two years,
(ii) passes at 50% or above, achieved at the first attempt, in 40 credits of courses from the Ancient and Medieval History collection (NB: students progressing to honours in 23/24 will require passes at 50% or above, achieved at the first attempt, in either Ancient History 2A or Ancient History 2B)
(iii) a pass at 50% or above, achieved at the first attempt, in the two compulsory year 2 courses.
Entry to honours in Classics remains at the discretion of the Head of Classics in the light of performance across all courses.

The credits for your courses should total 120 in each year.
