As an alternative to the mathematics courses, students may take the School of Mathematics courses prescribed for the Year 1 programme of the Theoretical Physics MPhys degree.

For Yr5 students in 2022/23 only, Statistical Physics must be chosen if it wasn't taken in SH year.

In addition, for 2022/23 only, if one of these courses was followed in the SH year then the minimum number of credits that must be taken from this list is reduced to 30.
