Notes:
To continue without the need for an extension to the total period of study, a full-time student must attain a minimum of 80 credit points by the end of Year 1. Total credits per year must equal 120.

Notes:

Year 2 BA Hons students are expected to select two optional courses (20 credits) - one in each semester - or one full year course (40 credits) in order to help balance workload across the year.

If you are a Direct Entry Year 2 Art student, or if you need to make any changes to your course enrolments, please meet with your Personal Tutor and ensure that the course timetables do not clash with your compulsory Art courses.

To progress into Year 4 students must pass all courses (360 credits); in exceptional circumstances, with the permission of the Board and APRC concession, students may be permitted to carry up to 40 credits into final honours year.

After successful completion of 360 credits, students may be eligible to exit with an Ordinary degree. See general DRPS regulation 53 for further details.

Notes:
With the permission of the School of Art, you may take ARTX10035 Visual Research 4 (20 credits) and ARTX10040 Visual Culture Research Project (40 credits) in place of ARTX10039 Visual Research 4 (40 credits) and ARTX10036 Visual Culture Research Project (20 credits) respectively. This decision will be made in discussion with your tutors.
