Notes:
Entry to year 3 requires a pass at 50% or above at the first attempt in Scottish Literature 2A and 2B; and 50% or more, at first attempt, in Introduction to Historiography AND in the selected course from the Scottish History collection.

Students on this degree programme are NOT permitted to take Literary Studies 2A or 2B.
You may NOT choose more than 20 credits of History courses (with codes starting HIST) in this collection.

Students must choose at least 40 credits from the Scottish Literature course collections across the two years of Honours study.

Final Assessment: One unit of assessment is allocated to every 20 credits and constitutes one 20-credit paper. The following are the twelve 20-credit papers on which the classification of the degree is based. (Papers that for the purposes of degree classification acquire a weighting of 40 credits are, therefore, listed twice.)

From Third Year:

1. Honours option for Scottish History.
2. Honours option for Scottish History.
3. English/Scotish Literature honours 3 option course Semester 1.
4. English/Scottish Literature honours 3 option course Semester 2.
5. English Literature Reading Theory 1 OR Honours option for Scottish History.
6. English Literature Reading Theory 2 OR Honours option for Scottish History.

From Fourth Year:

7. Honours option for Scottish History.
8. Honours option for Scottish History.
9. English/Scottish Literature honours 4 option course.
10. English/Scottish Literature honours 4 option course OR course from LLC and Divinity Collection.
11. Dissertation for English Literature or Scottish History.
12. Dissertation for English Literature or Scottish History.
