| Course description |
Drawing on a focused body of resources and visual material you will define a personal perspective in relation to your work.
Aims
1.To engage critically in specialist visual research in relation to art practice.
2.To build on and enhance an understanding of research that underpins a self-motivated approach to studio practice.
3.To identify appropriate materials, methods and processes of research within the context of your own work and current practice.

Formative:
This course has 1 formative task which consists of:
- A Research Report (max 1500 words, up to 40 images, max 10 mins video / audio). 100% coursework, equally weighted against all Learning outcomes. Due Week 3, semester 2
Feedback is verbal in the form of a Studio Review in weeks 1-2 of Semester 2 prior to the Formative Task in week 3. This is followed by a feedback tutorial after the Formative Task has been submitted.
Summative:
Summative Feedback will be provided as per University regulations. |
