|Summary||The MSc Film Studies Dissertation is a 15000 word research project on a topic of the student's choosing.
Information on the requirements to progress to the dissertation is available in the Taught Assessment Regulations.
The Masters Film Studies Dissertation allows students to devise and research an advanced topic in the broad field of the moving image.
The dissertation will be 15000 words in length (excluding bibliography).
Students will receive regular supervision and will be expected to liaise regularly with their supervisor and submit material for comment at agreed times.

||One dissertation of 15000 words.
||Students will meet at least three times with their dissertation supervisor to discuss their research. Supervisors will comment on at least one chapter and the introduction in detail.
Supervisors cannot read and comment on full drafts of the dissertation.
