SummaryThis is a one-week residential field course based in the Glen Prosen, in the Cairngorm Mountains of Scotland. The course aims to use immersive experience in an iconic upland Scottish landscape to (i) develop independent field investigation skills and (ii) explore the complex ecology of an area making the transition from traditional land use to rewilded nature reserve. The location of the field course allows for studies of the flora and fauna of highland moorland, native woodland, commercial woodland, rewilded land, upland streams and riparian scrub.
