SummaryTo give students a command of the main tools of microeconomic analysis, so that they can undertake advanced work in areas such as modern micro-founded macroeconomics, industrial economics, public economics, labour economics, environmental economics, international economics and finance; and to show how such microeconomic analysis can be applied in making the transition from theoretical models to policy models.
