Additional Information (Assessment) When studying in a Persian speaking country, there is no formal assessment of the time abroad. Rather, knowledge of the language and culture studied is assessed via the entire range of 4th year course, especially the specifically language-based ones. Additionally, in the case of attending an ERASMUS approved institution, assessment is based on a transcript from the host institution on a pass/fail basis.

Learning Outcomes
Students will improve their knowledge of the four basic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in Modern Persian as well as broaden their familiarity with Persian and Islamic / Middle Eastern culture.
