Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- The student will develop a fundamental and practical understanding of thermal energy transport.
- They will learn techniques required to analyse and design heat-transfer processes and systems.
- An important aspect will be the development of sound engineering judgement for recognition of salient heat-transfer issues and the capability to estimate quantitatively their effects.

Reading List
The text book Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer 7th Edition by Bergman, Lavine, Incropera, and DeWitt, John Wiley and Sons, (2011) will be a required text. |
