| Summary | This course aims to develop an integrated understanding of modern approaches to some of the core areas of psychology (the remaining core areas will be covered in Psychology 2B). Students are also presented with a broad historical, conceptual and methodological framework of scientific and psychological research. Besides this, students are taught and can practice a range of general research skills. |
| Course description |
The course will cover key findings and concepts in psychological science. Blocks of lectures will cover core psychological areas. Tutorials and labs will accompany the lectures teaching skills in consuming and producing psychological research and presenting that research to scientific audiences.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
