Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Be able to demonstrate a critical understanding of current key concepts in communicable disease and environmental health and of their significance as a global public health issue.
  2. Be able to apply key principles and methods of surveillance, investigation, control and prevention to communicable disease.
  3. Have enhanced their skills for dealing with complex issues and making informed judgements in the absence of complete information.
