Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Be able to demonstrate a critical understanding of current key concepts in communicable disease and environmental health and of their significance as a global public health issue.
- Be able to apply key principles and methods of surveillance, investigation, control and prevention to communicable disease.
- Have enhanced their skills for dealing with complex issues and making informed judgements in the absence of complete information.
