DEGREE REGULATIONS & PROGRAMMES OF STUDY 2024/2025

In Year 1 students will study 180 credits at SCQF level 11 and 12. Of these 120 credits will be compulsory taught courses as listed below.

In Years 2 and 3 students will study a total of 360 credits at SCQF level 10, 11 and 12, including a total of 40 compulsory taught courses (30 credits in Year 2; 10 credits in Year 3), and 20 elective credits.

Students must select one of the following three options for these elective credits:

1. 10 elective credits as SCQF level 10 or 11 taught courses in BOTH Year 2 and Year 3
2. 20 elective credits as a SCQF level 11 Student Led Individually Created Course (SLICC) in EITHER Year 2 or Year 3.
3. 20 elective credits as a single SCQF level 10 or 11 taught course in EITHER Year 2 or Year 3
