Year 1 Academic year: 2025/26, Starting in: September

Notes:
This part-time programme will help you gain intellectual and practical skills to engage in linguistics research, either for its own sake, or as part of cross-disciplinary research. Students will have the flexibility to choose courses and research topics to suit their academic interests and to select courses in specialised areas of Linguistics and English Language.

Students must enrol for 120 credits of courses over 4 teaching semesters. The balance of credit loads can be tailored to individual students in discussion with their Programme Director.

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.
