Notes:
All taught courses as part of the programme are at SCQF Level 11 (Postgraduate) (20 credits). To attain the MSc, candidates must achieve 120 credits of taught courses and complete a dissertation worth 60 credits. The MSc can be completed over 2 - 4 years part-time. Students are required to complete a minimum of 60 credits every 2 years.

To progress to dissertation, candidates must achieve 120 credits of taught courses. Students may enrol on campus-based courses if it is possible for them to attend the University. Please note that students enrolled on this programme would not be eligible to apply for a Tier 4 visa.

Courses can also be combined for the award of the Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits) or Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits). There are no compulsory courses in this programme.

For CLPS11061 Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: Introduction and Skills Building, students must be suitably qualified health and social care professionals (e.g. allied health professionals, applied psychologists, social workers, medical practitioners, nurses) who have existing experience (minimum 6 months) of delivering structured psychological interventions (e.g. CBT, IPT, BA, IAPT). Students must also have experience of caseload management including risk assessment and management (minimum 6 months). Applications with proof of meeting entry requirements are to be submitted to the Course Organiser.

For CLPS11096 The assessment and diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Online and CLPS11098 Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD): Context, Contributors & Clinical Presentation Online, students must meet the entry requirements and submit an application to the Course Organiser.
