Taught courses must consist of 120 credits, at least 90 credits of which must be at SCQF Level 11 and at most 30 credits at SCQF Level 10.

Particle & Nuclear Physics MSc options

Select between 30 and 70 credits of the following courses
Notes:
The Nuclear and Particle Physics (PHYS10106) and Relativity, Nuclear and Particle Physics (PHYS10096) options are only advised for students with little previous experience in particle physics or who have only had a basic introduction to relativity and so do not meet the pre-requisites for the Particle Physics course (PHYS11042).

Particle & Nuclear Physics MSc - Level 10 Physics and Astronomy options

Select between 0 and 30 credits of the following courses
Notes:
Students are allowed to take up to 30 credits in total at Level 10. Therefore students who follow the Nuclear and Particle Physics (PHYS10106) course may only take 20 credits from this list. Students who follow the Relativity, Nuclear and Particle Physics (PHYS10096) course may only select 10 credits from this list.
