To continue without the need for an extension to the total period of study, a full-time student must attain a minimum of 360 credit points by the end of Year 3.
After successful completion of 360 credits as outlined above, students may be eligible to exit with an Ordinary degree. See general DRPS regulation 53 for further details.
If students go abroad for the whole year, then they do not need to take the compulsory courses listed below, but have the option of taking HIAR10162 Analysing Art History (Non-Compulsory Year Abroad).
For students that are accepted on History of Art Work Placement (HIAR10157), this can replace Analysing Art History: Texts, Objects, Institutions, Part Two (HIAR10170) in semester 2.
