Mathematics for Social Science (SSPS08009) should normally be taken in Year 1 but can be taken in Year 2. Please talk to your PT if you want to take this course in Year 2.

Notes:
Students who did not take Mathematics for Social Science (SSPS08009) in their 1st Year will be expected to do so in their 2nd Year.

Students should not take Introduction to Political Data Analysis.

Students who have passed courses to the required value of 240 credits, and achieved marks of 50% or more at the first attempt in all required second-year courses for their registered degree, are automatically entitled to progress to honours.

Students who are planning on spending their Junior Year Abroad must successfully progress to honours before they can proceed on their JYA.

Students on with Quantitative Methods degrees must take Statistical Modelling in year 3 (or year 4 if on a year abroad). They must take at least two and no more than three quantitative electives across their third and fourth year.

Students who take a year abroad in year 3 will almost always take Statistical Modelling in year 4 and then must select at least one and no more than two quantitative electives
