This degree programme table lists the options available to those wishing to complete modules for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) certificate at the University of Edinburgh. As a reminder, candidates must complete the A module, at least one B module and at least three C modules, depending on their designation of interest. Full details are provided on the Royal College website and the CertAVP team at Edinburgh can assist with any questions. Please email CertAVP@ed.ac.uk

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.

Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Taught Courses)

Select between 0 and 50 credits of the following courses
Notes:
This set includes all the fully-taught courses currently available to CertAVP candidates at Edinburgh. These courses may have a different title from the RCVS modules. Additional assessments, such as case logs, may be required following completion of Edinburgh course assessments. Please discuss with the CertAVP team to confirm course choices and assessment requirements. We have taught courses available for many of our modules. If you are interested in a module not on our Taught module list please contact the CertAVP team.

Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice: (Assessment-only Courses)

Select between 0 and 60 credits of the following courses
Notes:
This set includes all assessment-only modules available to CertAVP candidates at Edinburgh. This is the most flexible option - **no materials or tuition are provided**, this is a direct assessment submission route. As per the RCVS guidelines, candidates are encouraged to structure a study plan when undertaking a module. The CertAVP team are available to assist with study planning and candidates are advised to identify a mentor before beginning the module(s). Opportunities to request formative feedforward in advance of submission are provided.
