Moral Psychology (P01290)

This course will examine topics in what has become known as moral psychology. These will include issues of motivation, intention, strength and weakness of will, free will, moral development, self-deception, and conceptions of the self. Although the approach will be, at base, philosophical, we shall draw on some of the relevant social psychology literature.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course students will be familiar with the central concepts and problems of moral psychology.
