International Business in Emerging Markets ((VS1) (U02324)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 10 ? Acronym : MSE-4-IBEM-VS This course provides students with an appreciation of the additional complexities and challenges of international business in the emerging markets of the world. It assumes a basic understanding of the processes of globalisation and internationalisation in the world economy and the strategies and activities of multinational enterprises operating in that environment. Reflecting the diversity of emerging markets, the course covers a wide range of material relating to the major emerging markets of Latin America, Asia and the transition economies of Central and Eastern Europe.
