Acronym : PPL-4-CLIV1-PS To describe and evaluate research that addresses the issue of why some children have difficulty acquiring spoken language. Entry Requirements? This course is only available to part year visiting students. ? This course is a variant of the following course : U00589 ? Pre-requisites : Degree major in Psychology and passes in psychology courses at least to the equivalent of junior honours level in Edinburgh. Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to elucidate the nature of the difficulties that some children have in acquiring spoken language.
- They will be able to evaluate a range of theoretical accounts of these difficulties. - They will be able to consider the educational implications of research on children with language impairments. Assessment Information
