This module introduces to the concepts and methods of presenting personal work in a professional situation. 
 
Aims of course 
1 To introduce concepts and processes of Professional Practice within the context of Intermedia Art. 
2 To encourage an understanding of Contemporary Art Practice, and to introduce an ability to place personal work in this context. 
3 To test practical methods of showing work in individual and group situations.

Learning Outcomes 
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:  
1. Demonstrate an ability to present a coherent written statement relating personal ideas and practice within a contemporary art context.  
2. Document work in a variety of different spaces both in individual and group situations to demonstrate a basic understanding of the significance of issues surrounding siting of work and audience. 
3. Present a proposal for an intervention/installation/exhibition. Clearly identifying the significance of the work to the site and anticipated audience.  |
