| Course description |
One grammar seminar and two language tutorials a week.
Tutorials will tend to be focused on textual analysis and oral activities.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Understand the main concepts and most relevant details of complex texts in a variety of registers and styles.
- Produce clear, well-structured and accurate texts on a wide range of subjects.
- Explain view points on a topical issue showing controlled use of organisational patterns and cohesive devices.
- Speak with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers possible without strain for either party even in complex situations
- Reach an overall linguistic competence across levels B2 -C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
