Notes:
Entry into third year honours normally requires (i) passes in all courses (240 credits) in the first two years, and (ii) a mark of 50% or above at the first attempt in Business Analytics and Information Systems and one other Business course in second year (not including Business Research Methods I: Introduction to Data Analysis).

Students are recommended to balance the number of credits taken in each semester if possible.

BUST08005 Business Economics is recommended.

Two Business courses must be passed 1st time at 50 (including Business Analytics and Information Systems) to gain entry to 3rd year Honours in Business with Decision Sciences.


Year 3 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: August

Notes:
Entry into third year honours normally requires (i) passes in all courses (240 credits) in the first two years, and (ii) a mark of 50% or above at the first attempt in two Business courses in second year - but not including Business Research Methods I: Quantitative Techniques (from 2016/17 this course has been re-named Business Research Methods I: Introduction to Data Analysis). One of the two Business courses with a mark of 50% or above must be in Management Science and Information Systems (from 2016/17 this course has been re-named Business Analytics and Information Systems).

Students in Year 3 must take a minimum of TWO taught courses (40 credits) per semester.

The Dissertation proposal must be on a research topic in the field of Decision Sciences.

Students who spend their third year abroad at a partner university must complete and pass a full year's diet of examinable subjects (equivalent to 120 credits), the majority of which must be in Business and Decision Sciences. All students must complete and pass an equivalent course to the year 3 compulsory course Strategic Management.
