Beyond the core courses (tabled below), students are free to choose from a wide range of courses (with the approval of the Programme Director). Consult the current years DRPS for latest information.

The MSc is available for Full or part-time (PT) study. PT students must complete the same requirements as full-time over two academic years. The dissertation must be completed during Year 2, after progression to the dissertation stage has been confirmed by the Board of Examiners.

NOTE: (only) for students funded on an ESRC scholarship, they require you to take Qualitative Methodologies in Psychological Research PSYL11072, and to audit Research Design PGSP11208.

Select exactly 30 credits of additional courses at Level 11, chosen in consultation with your Programme Director. These choices cover a very broad range of topics, from Clinical Neuropsychology to Genetics, and give a great deal of flexibility to customise the programmes to your goals. (the "search DRPS" button in the top right will show the hundreds of courses to choose from).

Note: You can also include a limited number of units normally taken by year 4 ("honors year" undergraduates). This can help build background knowledge for areas that are newer to you.
