Entry to Fourth Year requires an average of 55% at the first attempt across courses taken in third year, or the permission of the Head of School.

Some third year courses are prerequisites for specific fourth year courses, and you are advised to consider your plans for fourth year when making your course choices.

Sometimes a course may appear on more than one list, if it relates to multiple subject areas: where this happens you can still only select that course once.

Entry to Fifth Year requires successful completion of Fourth Year and a pass in MInf Project (Part 1), or the permission of the Head of School.

These lists include courses at level 10 (code INFR10xxx) and level 11 (code INFR11xxx). In general, level 11 courses will contain more advanced material and be taught at a higher level than level 10 courses; you should take account of this when planning your course combination. To complete your degree you must ensure that you have taken a minimum of 120 credits worth of courses at Level 11.
