Year 1 Academic year: 2021/22, Starting in: September

Notes:
Courses will run in either Semester 1 OR Semester 2, subject to staffing availability. The range of option courses available may vary. Students complete six courses (1 compulsory course, 2 skills option courses, 2 specialist option courses and 1 further course chosen from either the skills or specialist options) and the MSc Dissertation over the duration of the degree.

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.

The Sources of Medieval History

Select between 0 and 20 credits of the following courses
Notes:
This compulsory course MUST be taken in either Year 1 or Year 2.
AND

Medieval History MSc - Skills courses

Select between 0 and 60 credits of the following courses
Notes:
1. Students may take other appropriate medieval courses offered in the College and approved by the Programme Director.
2. Students MUST take in total a minimum of 40 credits and maximum of 60 credits from these skills options over the duration of their degree.
AND

Medieval History MSc Courses

Select between 0 and 60 credits of the following courses
Notes:
Please note that places on the courses are subject to availability. Popular courses may fill up quickly.

Further to discussion with the Programme Director a student may also choose an option from the suite of courses offered by the School of History, Classics and Archaeology or from other Schools.
AND

Medieval History MSc Online Courses

Select between 0 and 20 credits of the following courses
Notes:
These courses are taught online and are prioritised for students taking an online degree, limited numbers of places may be available to on-campus students.
