Before selecting your outside courses, please ensure you have met your Personal Tutor.

Students who are planning on spending their Junior Year Abroad in Y3 must successfully progress to honours before they can proceed on their exchange. It is compulsory to have passed 240 credits by the June progression board.

Entry to third year normally requires successful completion of the first two years of the curriculum.

Students intending to do the Geography Dissertation should take courses from Group A.

Students who have passed either Introduction to Statistics for Social Science (SSPS08008) or Doing Social Research Statistics (SSPS08007) are not required to take Doing Survey Research (SCIL10063) and should take a Sociology Honours Option course instead.

Students who have not taken Introduction to Statistics (SSPS08008) or Doing Social Research with Statistics (SSSPS08007) must take Doing Survey Research (SCIL10063) as compulsory course.
