Notes:
Progression to Year 3 honours normally requires a Pass in all courses (240 credits) in the first two years, including: (i) a minimum mark of 50% in EITHER Introduction to Corporate Finance (BUSTBUST08030) OR Applications of Finance BUST08018), (ii) a minimum mark of 50% in ONE other Business 2nd year course in Year 2, and (iii) a Pass in both Research Methods in Finance 1 and Research Methods in Finance 2.

Students are recommended to balance the number of credits taken in each semester if possible.

ONE Business 2nd year course (not including BUST08033 Business Research Methods I: Introduction to Data Analysis, BUST08030 Introduction to Corporate Finance or BUST08018 Applications of Finance) must be passed with a minimum mark of 50% in Year 2 to progress to Year 3 honours in Business.

The Dissertation proposal must be on a research topic that is related to the Degree Programme of Study.

Students who spend their third year abroad at a partner university must complete and pass a full year's diet of examinable subjects (equivalent to 120 credits), the majority of which must be in Business and Finance. All students must complete and pass an equivalent course to the year 3 compulsory course Strategic Management.
