Alternative option courses from those listed below may be substituted with the permission of the Programme Director.
Students on the MSc in Earth Observation and Geoinformation Management must take 60 credits of compulsory courses and 60 credits of option courses. Students are advised to take between 20 credits and 40 credits of option courses in semester one and between 20 credits and 40 credits of option courses in semester two (60 credits for both semesters all together). It is possible to vary from this but you should do so in consultation with the Programme Director.
You must think carefully about when your chosen courses will be delivered and make choices that balance your time well between the 4 blocks within the two semesters.
Students are encouraged to complete the majority of taught courses in blocks 1, 2 and 3 to allow maximum time for the Dissertation.
Important information regarding optional courses: please be aware that the optional courses listed on this degree programme timetable may be subject to closure or a change of semester at short notice, and there may be a limit on places available. Unfortunately we can¿t guarantee that every student will get their preferred course option choices.
Before selecting your optional courses, please ensure you have met your Student Advisor.
