The credits for your courses should total 120 in each year.

Students failing History of Art 1A: Art and Belief in Europe, 500 to 1700 and History of Art 1B: Art at the Crossroads of World Cultures 600 to 1700 will not be allowed to progress to Year 2 unless recommended as a Special Circumstances concession from the Exam Board. Students transferring into History of Art from another programme with no prior study in History of Art may, with the permission of the History of Art UG Director, be allowed to take History of Art 1A, History of Art 1B, History of Art 2A and History of Art 2B concurrently in Year 2.

Entry into Honours normally requires
(i) passes in 240 credits of courses taken in the first two years,
(ii) passes at 50% or above, achieved at the first attempt, in 40 credits of second year History courses, this can include 'The Transformation of the Roman World' (Please note, this does not include ECSH courses listed in the 'Outside course' collection)
