Year 2 Academic year: 2024/25, Starting in: August

Notes:
Progression to Year 3 honours normally requires a Pass in all courses (240 credits) in the first two years, including: (i) a mark of 50% in ONE Business course in Year 2, (ii) a pass in Economics 2, and (iii) a pass in Statistical Methods for Economics.

Students are recommended to balance the number of credits taken in each semester if possible.

Notes:
Students in Year 3 must take a minimum of 40 credits of taught courses per semester.

Students who spend their third year abroad at a partner university must complete and pass a full year's diet of courses (equivalent to 120 credits), the majority of which must be in Business and Economics. All students must complete and pass equivalent courses to the year 3 compulsory courses Topics in Microeconomics; Essentials of Econometrics; either Applications of Econometrics or Topics in Macroeconomics.
