Year 4 Academic year: 2024/25, Starting in: August

Notes:
- For progression to Year 4 students must -
Pass at least 80 credits a SCQF level 9 or above, and have an overall average of 40% or more for 120 credits of study taken in the year.

- Entry to Year 4 MEng -
Entry to Year 4 of the MEng programme normally requires an average of 55% in third year, at the first attempt. Those not achieving an average of 55% or above will be required to transfer to Year 4 of the BEng programme.

Select between 0 and 10 credits of the following courses
Notes:
This course is compulsory and may be taken in either Year 4 or Year 5.
AND

Civil Engineering options

Select between 40 and 60 credits of the following courses
Notes:
CIVE08027 Practical Skills in Civil Engineering must be taken if you have not completed the practical surveying exercises.
AND

Level 10 and 11 courses in Schedules A to Q, T and W

Select between 0 and 20 credits from Level 10 and 11 courses in Schedules A to Q, T and W

Year 5 Academic year: 2024/25, Starting in: August

- University Progression and Graduation Rules -
In Years 3, 4 and 5 the University progression and graduation rules normally require full passes in 80 credits of courses with an overall average of 40% or more for the 120 credits of study taken in the relevant honours year.
