  • Notes: A total of 120 credits of courses and 60 credits of dissertation must be taken to achieve the MSc.

    The Programme Director must approve choice of courses. Students should be aware that not all optional courses will necessarily be available in any given year. Confirmation of running courses will be available by the programme start date.

    For courses co-taught with undergraduate students and with no remaining undergraduate spaces left, a maximum of 8 MSc students can join the course. Priority will be given to MSc students who wish to take the course for credit on a first come first served basis after matriculation.

    It should also be noted students with a background in Philosophy may be able to substitute the compulsory course Introduction to Philosophical Method for another suitable 20 credit course at the discretion of the Programme Director.
