In year 2 you will choose 60 credits' worth of electives from a list of approximately 70 courses offered by our partner programmes.

A unique feature of our programme, and one designed to help you create a programme that meets your needs and interests and prepares you for the future, is our appointment of a Mentor who will have expertise and interest in your chosen disciplinary focus area and will assist you in choosing the courses that are right for you.

To ensure a broad, multidisciplinary understanding of global health, you will choose at least one course (10 or 20 credits) on research methodologies (List A), at least one course (10 or 20 credits) from our public health/policy portfolio (List B) and at least one course (10 or 20 credits) from our biomedical sciences portfolio (List C).

You will also have the option to choose up to 20 credits' worth of courses from any other subject area offered online by the University at Masters level (List D).

Below is the list of electives available from our partnering programmes. Please note that availability of courses may alter from semester to semester and across programmes. You will work with your Mentor to select the best options for you based on your interests and course availability in a given semester.

NOTE: This is a new programme commencing 2021-22. Please note that Year 2 course information may continue to be updated April 2022, and that the delivery of elective courses is subject to demand and availability.

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.

Notes:
LIST D: Students may choose between 0 - 20 credits from other non-listed electives of their choice (as available). Note that courses will need to be postgraduate level courses delivered online in order to meet the requirements for this programme.

Year 3 Academic year: 2021/22, Starting in: September

Notes:
In year 3 students wishing to complete an MSc Integrated Global Health will undertake a 60 credit dissertation in the area(s) and School(s) most relevant to their topic area and area of study.

NOTE: This is a new programme commencing 2021-22. Year 3 dissertation information will be published in April 2022.

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.
