This programme is intermittent, which means students have up to 2 years to complete the required Certificate level courses and up to 4 years to complete the required Diploma level courses.

NOTE: There are compulsory courses for the Certificate level of this programme.

Students are strongly recommended to take the VESC11224 Innovative Approaches to Health Challenges Across Disciplines course in their Diploma years. The Scientific Paradigms, Research Approaches and Study Design Across Disciplines (VESC11251) course is COMPULSORY for all students who wish to complete the dissertation element of the programme.

Certificate students must complete the following 60 credits of courses by the end of Year 2:

VESC11033 An Introduction to One Health
VESC11088 Ecosystem Health
VESC11089 One Health Policy

AND EITHER
INAH11027 Applied Veterinary Epidemiology OR
EMND11003 Applied Epidemiology and Public Health OR
VESC11038 Applied Epidemiology and Surveillance for Conservation Medicine

Year 2 Academic year: 2024/25, Starting in: September
